Released: 2019

'Blurry Lines' is a digital release only. The single was recorded back in September 2019 by our very own John Timney (drums, guitar, production). It was around this time that I decided to branch out and form the Nick Gladdish Band comprising of Tim Higgins (Electric and Acoustic Guitars), Adam Cornell (Bass), Shannon Powell (Harmony Vocals), John Timney (Drums & Percussion/Production). We took 'Blurry Lines' on a small tour back in October 2019, taking in Edinburgh, Blyth, Newcastle (single launch), Leeds and Carlisle. NICK GLADDISH: Tall Stories - EP

Released: 2017

This project began life back in Dec 2016. I decided to cut a record with a full band. I initially cut the drums, piano and guide vocals at the Loft Studios, Newcastle in Dec '16. All the other overdubs were cut at the Attic and co-produced by Graham Testo. I then got the project mixed, engineered and mastered by Liam Gaughan, who I felt did a fantastic job! 'Tall Stories' is a bluesy led offering with a suggestion of country and jazz in places. I cannot thank enough, the following talented local musicians who gave up their precious time for me in the recording studio. Elliott Clarke (drums), Tim Higgins (acoustic, electric lap steel guitars), Meghann Clancy (harmony vocals) on 'Everyone's Ball', Katie Hall (cello) on 'Box/Isolated', Liam Fender (organ) on 'Kindergarten Child', Jon Tait (harmonica) on 'Better Person'. Had a lot of fun making this one, enjoy! Please buy my E.P. from the iTunes store

or Amazon Music. The record can also be streamed/downloaded on Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes, TikTok, Google Play/YouTube, Amazon, Pandora, Deezer, Tidal, Napster, iHeartRadio, ClaroMusica, Saavn, Anghami, KKBox, MediaNet, Instagram/Facebook.

NICK GLADDISH: Seconds Treasured, Memories Measured L.P

Released: 2012

Most of the tracks for this 11 track album were written between 2009 and 2011. It's a nostalgic offering that reflects on times gone by. I was thinking about home and the good times i've had back in Devon. I wanted to put together a record where i played and recorded all the parts myself. e.g. Drum loops, guitars, piano, etc. All of the demos were produced at my home recording studio between Feb and June 2012 which were then later mixed and mastered at Digital Garden Studios, Winlaton in Aug 2012. The record is a collection of chilled out acoustic led tracks. Jon Tait plays Harmonica on "Sticks And Stones" and "Seconds Treasured, Memories Measured". Graham Testo features on "Coming Home To You, Choked" as lead guitarist. The album is available to stream/download on Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes, TikTok, Google Play/YouTube, Amazon, Pandora, Deezer, Tidal, Napster, iHeartRadio, ClaroMusica, Saavn, Anghami, KKBox, MediaNet, Instagram/Facebook.

NICK GLADDISH: Certain Ways (6 Track Demo E.P)

Released: 2008

Below, is a 6 track collection of piano led songs that I wrote between 1998 and 2003. This is the 1st time where i have put together a CD that was purely all my own doing, i.e. playing all the instruments myself. In the past, i have either been writing songs with fellow band members, collaborated with various musicans or I have gotten people to play the parts that I could not.

The EP below is a chilled out affair with me taking on all piano, bass and vocal duties. The tracks were recorded in a day by Jerry Stephens of Audio Angel Productions in December 2006. We kind of went for the "warts and all" approach to the recording process. I just wanted to sit behind my Piano and sing the songs live. The only over dubs on the recording are the bass guitar and backing vocal parts. I really hope you enjoy my debut demo EP "Certain Ways".

ACOUSTIC CITY: Some Kind L.P

Released: 2007

Acoustic City are Nick Gladdish and Patrick Snape (Ex-Unstable Tables / The Dead Peasants). Nick and Patrick are based in Newcastle Upon Tyne. Their first collection of songs together is titled Some kind. A lyrical and passionate cycle of songs dealing with love, loss, life and the North Circular! Nick describes Acoustic City as "Casualkai & The Unstable Tables meeting somewhere in the middle creatively". The recording process initially took place in a Tyneside flat on Nick's 4 track recorder. The majority of the 10 tracks were written this way. Patrick had some lyrics, Nick had some chord sequences and the jam sessions happened very quickly and effortlessly. The songs were then later polished and perfected and re-produced on Nick's Cubase set up. For more info: Go to www.myspace.com/acousticcity.
